July 2004 Idea of the Month Candy Tents
This easy project makes a great party favor!
Supplies: B1005 Freshest of the Bunch stamp set D1054 Speckled Backgrounds Close To My Heart® Baby Pink Cardstock Baby Pink, Pink Carnation, and Black Exclusive Inks TM Stamp Pads Paper Circle Tags 5" Baby Pink Gingham Ribbon 1/8" punch Glue dots or adhesive Individually-wrapped bite-size "nugget" candy, such as Hershey's TM Nuggets
Step 1: Create the Tent
Cut cardstock to 2.5" x 6" rectangle. Score cardstock at 2.5" and 3.5" from either of the short ends. Stamp or decorate tent and circle tag as desired.
Step 2: Fill and Give! Fold tent on score lines. Using glue dot or other adhesive, adhere candy to inside bottom of candy tent. Punch two holes towards top of tent, going through both layers. Thread ribbon through holes and circle tag and tie shut.
