Tips and Tools for My Acrylix TM Stamps and the 2004-5 Idea Book

Aren't you just loving the 2004-5 Close To My Heart catalog/idea book?  I know I am!  This month I am going to share some great tools and tips to help you use, care for, and enjoy our new My Acrylix TM stamps and other new products.   What?!  You don't have a 2004-4 catalog yet?  Click here for more information!

My Acrylix TM Block Template

Not sure which block size you need for that My Acrylix TM stamp set you just have to have?  Well, here's an easy way to find out!  Just print this template out onto a transparency sheet (you can buy them to go through your computer printer), a piece of acetate, or a sheet of vellum.  (In a pinch, you can print onto regular paper or cardstock, but then you'll need to use a craft knife to cut out the insides of the blocks).

To use the template, just place it over the stamp image in the catalog to choose a block size.  For ease of use, the block should be just slightly larger than the image.  If you only want to buy one block with your set, choose a block that fits the largest image in the stamp set.  Then, of course, all the smaller images will fit, too.  Remember, you only need to buy each block once!  Once you have a particular size, you can use it again and again with other My Acrylix TM stamp sets.

NOTE:  Images in the catalog are shown at 50% size (unless otherwise noted), so the blocks on the template are also shown at 50% size.
